【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforconstructionanddescribesmethodsoftestforarmouredcableswiththermosettinginsulationofratedvoltages600/1000Vand1900/3300Vwhich,whenassessedbythespecifiedtests,producelowerlevelsofsmokeandcorrosiveproductsunderexposuretofirecomparedwithcablesconformingtoBS5467%Textdeleted&.Cablesspecifiedinthisstandardareintendedforuseinfixedinstallationsinindustrialareas,buildingsandsimilarapplications.Inthisstandard,thelevelofcorrosive(andacid)gasesisdeterminedbymeasurementofhydrochloricacid(HCl)inaccordancewith!BSEN50267-2-1".Theinsulationandothercomponentsaresuitabletopermitoperationofthecablesatamaximumsustainedconductortemperatureof90°Candforamaximumshort-circuitconductortemperatureof250°C.NOTE1Limitationonthetemperatureofthecablesmaybeimposedinsituationswheretheymaybetouched.NOTE2Duetotherelativelyhighconductortemperature,thereisariskofdryingoutthesurroundingsoilcausinganincreaseinthermalresistivitywhichinturnwouldleadtothecabletemperaturerisingtoahighervaluethananticipated.Forcablelaiddirectlyintheground,asuitablede-ratingfactorshouldbeappliedoralowermaximumsustainedconductoroperatingtemperatureshouldbeassumedtotakeintoaccountthepossibleeffectsofsoildryingout.NOTE3Ininstallationswhichincludecablejointsandterminations,theperformanceoftheseaccessoriesshouldbetakenintoaccountindecidingthemaximumoperatingtemperatureofthecable.Thecablesspecifiedinthestandardareallwirearmouredandoversheathed,asfollows:a)600/1000V:single-corestrandedcopperconductor;single-coresolidaluminiumconductor;two-,three-,four-andfive-corestrandedcopperconductor;two-,three-,andfour-coresolidaluminiumconductor;multicoreauxiliarystrandedcopperconductor.b)1900/3300V:single-corestrandedcopperconductor;single-coresolidaluminiumconductor;three-corestrandedcopperconductor;three-coresolidaluminiumconductor.AnnexAgivesrecommendationsfortheselectionandoperationofcableswhilerecommendationsfortheinstallationofcablesaregiveninAnnexB.AnnexCliststheinformationthatshouldbegivenwithanenquiryororder.
