【摘要】:Thisguideistobeusedbyanyonedevelopingcleaningrequirementsforspecificationsformanufacturing,maintenance,oroverhaul.Thisguidehasbeendesignedtobeapplicationspecificforeachcleaningtaskandtoassurethedesignengineerthattheprocessselectedbytheindustrialormanufacturingengineerwillbecompatiblewithboththepartmaterialandthesubsequentprocess(es).Thisguideallowstheindustrialormanufacturingengineertocustomizetheselectionofthecleaningproductbasedonthematerialsofthepartbeingcleaned;thecleanlinessrequiredforthesubsequentprocess(es);andtheenvironmental,cost,andhealthandsafetyconcerns.1.1Thisguideisintendedtoassistdesignengineers,manufacturing/industrialengineers,andproductionmanagersinselectingthebestfitcleaningagentandprocess.Thisguidetakesintoaccountenvironmentalpollutionpreventionfactorsinaselectionprocess.1.2Thisguideisnottobeconsideredasadatabaseofacceptablematerials.Itwillguidetheengineersandmanagersthroughthecleaningmaterialselectionprocess,callingforengineerstocustomizetheirselectionbasedonthecleaningrequirementsforthecleaningtasksathand.Ifapartcanbecleaned,andkeptclean,itcanbecycledthroughseveralprocessstepsthathavecleaningrequirements.Thiseliminatesextracleaningprocessstepsduringthetotalprocess.Atotallifecyclecostanalysisorperformance/costofownershipstudyisrecommendedtocomparethemethodsavailable.1.3Thisguideisforgeneralindustrymanufacturing,equipmentmaintenanceandremanufacturingoperations,andtosomeextentprecisioncleaningofmechanicalpartsandassemblies.Itisnotintendedtobeusedforoptical,medical,orelectronicsapplications,norisitintendedfordry-cleaningorsuper-criticalfluidcleaning.
