【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodusingscanningelectronmicroscopyfordeterminationoftheconcentrationofinorganicfibrousparticlesintheair.Themethodspecifiestheuseofgold-coated,capillary-pore,track-etchedmembranefilters,throughwhichaknownvolumeofairhasbeendrawn.Usingenergy-dispersiveX-rayanalysis,themethodcandiscriminatebetweenfibreswithcompositionsconsistentwiththoseoftheasbestosvarieties(e.g.serpentineandamphibole),gypsum,andotherinorganicfibres.AnnexCprovidesasummaryoffibretypeswhichcanbemeasured.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletothemeasurementoftheconcentrationsofinorganicfibrousparticlesinambientair.Themethodisalsoapplicablefordeterminingthenumericalconcentrationsofinorganicfibrousparticlesintheinterioratmospheresofbuildings,forexampletodeterminetheconcentrationofairborneinorganicfibrousparticlesremainingaftertheremovalofasbestos-containingproducts.Therangeofconcentrationsforfibreswithlengthsgreaterthan5μm,intherangeofwidthswhichcanbedetectedunderstandardmeasurementconditions(see6.2),isapproximately3fibresto200fibrespersquaremillimetreoffilterarea.Theairconcentrations,infibrespercubicmetre,representedbythesevaluesareafunctionofthevolumeofairsampled.NOTETheabilityofthemethodtodetectandclassifyfibreswithwidthslowerthan0,2μmislimited.Ifairbornefibresintheatmospherebeingsampledarepredominantly<0,2μminwidth,atransmissionelectronmicroscopymethodsuchasISO10312canbeusedtodeterminethesmallerfibres.
