【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectrictumbledryersintendedforhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250Vforsingle-phaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances.NOTE101Thisstandardappliestothedryingfunctionofwashingmachineshavingadryingcycle.Thisstandardalsodealswiththesafetyoftumbledryersthatusearefrigeratingsystem,incorporatingsealedmotor-compressors,fordryingtextilematerial.Theseappliancesmayuseflammablerefrigerants.AdditionalrequirementsfortheseappliancesaregiveninAnnexBB.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholdusebutwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarmsarewithinthescopeofthisstandard.NOTE102Examplesofsuchappliancesaretumbledryersforcommunaluseinblocksoffiatsorinlaunderettes.ASfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount-persons(includingchildren)whose~physical,sensoryormentalcapabilities;or~lackofexperienceandknowledgepreventsthemfromusingtheappliancesafelywithoutsupervisionorinstruction;-childrenplayingwiththeappliance.NOTE103Attentionisdrawntothefactthat-forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;-inmanycountries,additionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabour,thenationalwatersupplyauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortransportationandthenationalauthoritiesforbuildings.NOTE104Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto-appliancesintendedexclusivelyforindustrialpurposes;-appliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas).
