【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthekineticfrictionalpropertiesofamovingyarnincontactwithasolidmaterial.Fordeterminingyarn-to-yarnfriction,refertoTestMethodD3412.1.2Thistestmethodspecifiesarelativespeedof100m/min.Thetestmethodmaybeusedatotherspeeds,althoughwithapossiblechangeinprecisionandcoefficientoffriction.1.3Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthecoefficientofkineticfrictionbetweenyarnandsolidsurfaceorsurfacesofconstantradiusinthecontactarea.Ifayarnofuniformvalueisused,comparisonsoffrictionalpropertiesofdifferentsolidmaterialscanbemadewithrelationtothatyarn.Ifagivensolidmaterialisused,comparisonsoffrictionalpropertiesofdifferentyarns,oryarnswithdifferentfinishes,canbemadewithrelationtothatparticularsolidmaterial.1.4Thistestmethodspecificallyrecommendswrapanglesof3.14and6.28radian(180and360),butotherwrapanglesmaybeused,againwithapossiblechangeinprecisionandlevel.Theangleofwrapshouldnotbesogreat,especiallyforyarnshavinghighcoefficientsoffriction,thatitcausestheoutputtensiontoexceedtheyieldvaluefortheyarnbeingtested.Also,ineverycasetheangleofwrapshouldnotbelessthan1.57rad(90).1.5Thistestmethodhasbeenappliedtoyarnshavinglineardensitiesrangingbetween10and80tex(90and720denier)andhavingcoefficientsoffrictionrangingbetween0.1and0.5butmayalsobeusedwithyarnsoutsidetheserangesoflineardensitiesandcoefficientsoffriction.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection7.
