【摘要】:Thistestmethodsimulates,toapracticaldegree,theoperationofthethermostatmetalcoil.Thethermaldeflectionpropertiesofacoilmayvaryfromlot-to-lotofthermostatmetalmaterial.Thismethodisusefulfordeterminingtheoptimumthicknessandlengthofthematerialforagivendeflectionspecification.Thismethodisusefulasaqualitytesttodetermineacceptanceorrejectionofalotofthermostatmetalcoils.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthethermaldeflectionrateofspiralandhelicalcoilsofthermostatmetal.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Systematicsurveysprovidedataonshorelinecharacterandoilingconditionsfromwhichinformedplanningandoperationaldecisionsmaybedevelopedwithrespecttoshorelinecleanup(1-3).Surveysmayincludeoneormoreofthreecomponents,listedbelow.Thescaleoftheaffectedareaandtheavailabilityofpre-spillinformationwillinfluencetheselectionofsurveycomponentsandthelevelofdetail.Theaerialreconnaissancesurveyprovidesaperspectiveontheoverallextentandgeneralnatureoftheshorelineoilingconditions.Thisinformationisusedinconjunctionwithenvironmental,resource,andculturalsensitivitydatatoguideshorelineprotection,recoveryofmobileoil,andtofacilitatethemoredetailedresponseplanningandprioritiesoftheresponseoperations.Theaerialvideosurvey(s)providesystematicaudioandvideodocumentationoftheextentandtypeofshorelineoilingconditions,physicalshorelinecharacter,andpotentialaccessrestrictions.Thegroundassessmentsurvey(s)providethenecessaryinformationanddatatodevelopappropriateshorelineresponserecommendations.Afieldteam(s)collectsdetailedinformationonshorelineoilconditions,thephysicalandecologicalcharacterofoiledshorelines,andresourcesorculturalfeaturesthatmayaffectorbeaffectedbythetimingorimplementationofresponseactivities.Inordertoensuredataconsistencyitisimportanttousestandardizedterminologyanddefinitionsindescribingoilingconditions,asprovidedinGuideF1687.1.1Thisguidecoversfieldproceduresbywhichdatamaybecollectedinasystematicmannertodocumentandassesstheoilingconditionsonshorelines.1.2Thisguidedoesnotaddresstheterminologythatisusedtodefineanddescribeshorelineoilingconditions,theecologicalcharacterofoiledshorelines,ortheculturalorotherresourcesthatmaybepresent.1.3Theguideisapplicabletomarinecoasts(includingestuaries)andmayalsobeusedinfreshwaterenvironments(riversandlakes).1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
