【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesameansbywhichthepurchasercandeterminetheconformanceofgeosyntheticpropertiesasappliedtotheacceptanceorrejectionofamaterialinregardstoamaterialspecification.Thispracticehasbeendevelopedwithstrongemphasisonpracticalityandtherealizationthatallgeosyntheticsaresubjectedtoavigorousqualitycontrolprogrampriortoshipping.Note18212;Itissuggestedthattheuserobtainthemean,standarddeviation,and/orthecoefficientofvariationforgivenphysical/mechanicalpropertiesofaproductdirectlyfromthemanufacturer.Ifthisdataisunavailable,itissuggestedthatusersofthispracticebegintoaccumulatedatathatcanbeusedtoestimateproductaveragesandstandarddeviationsforeachproduct.Note28212;Therisktothepurchaserofbuyingoutofspecificationmaterialsisminimalwhenconformancerequirementsaredetailedinthepurchasespecificationandadequateconformancetestingisperformed.Itistheproducer''sresponsibilitytoperformthoroughqualitycontroltestingforallpropertiesrequiringcertification.Theproducer''sriskofrejectionisminimalwiththeperformanceofthisthoroughqualitycontroltesting.1.1Thispracticecoversaprocedurefordeterminingtheconformanceofgeosyntheticpropertiestostandardspecifications.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
